Taller de Paz-Colombia
A group of concientious, super energized students from Swarthmore University will be spending their Summer in Colombia doing and amazing project called Taller de Paz-Colombia. Taller de Paz is a summer program that works with adolescent children of internally displaced families living in the outskirts of Bogotá, Colombia. The focus of the program will be to encourage peaceful resolutions to conflict and self-expression through photography, art, and digital storytelling as empowerment tools used by the kids to explore their own environments as well as their own meanings of peace.
